The History of Mountainside Mineral
Mountainside Mineral was born from one simple realization: the products available to hunters weren’t living up to their potential.
In 2021, after years of hunting and managing properties, I noticed a pattern. Many mineral products on the market promised results, but few delivered consistent, visible improvements in herd health or antler growth. I believed there had to be something better something built with intention, research, and real world testing. That belief sparked the first move toward what would become Mountainside Mineral.
What started as independent research quickly turned into a full development process. I spent countless hours studying the role of different minerals and how they impact deer health and antler potential. Instead of following industry trends, I focused on what actually works in the field.
By 2023, after multiple seasons of testing and refinement, the final formula was ready.
All testing was conducted in real hunting environments across West Virginia and Ohio, using trail cameras to track herd activity, body condition, and antler growth. While nature can never be fully controlled, these properties became as close to a controlled study as possible. Over time, the results were undeniable stronger deer, healthier herds, and noticeable improvements in antler quality where Mountainside Mineral was consistently used.
What truly sets Mountainside Mineral apart is the key ingredient blend specifically our balanced use of calcium, phosphorus, and multiple sodium sources. These minerals play a critical role in skeletal health, antler development, and attraction, yet many competing products fail to provide them in the right forms or ratios.
Mountainside Mineral isn’t a mass-produced shortcut. It’s the result of years of research, trial, and real-world proof. Built by a hunter who refused to settle for average, this brand exists for those who take preparation seriously and demand more from their gear, their land, and their season.
This is more than a product. It’s the foundation of better bucks.
